Sunflower Stool
葵凳

设计从自然中提取灵感，以葵花作为形式的母体，试图通过简单的几何结构衍生及组合，创造出非几何的脱胎于自然的有机体。作品采用六棱柱作为葵凳基本结构元素，通过在空间上有规律的交错连接其顶点，形成了力学结构原形。之后，这个模型被输入电脑，运用人工数字的方法对它进行随机的挤压、扭转、拉伸——于是，原本均匀恒定的几何结构，通过非自然的几何运算，产生了自然的偶然与有机。规律回归至馄饨，秩序转化为无序，既定中寻找偶然..........

This design extracted inspiration from nature and took the sunflower, the form’s origin. We attempted to adopt simple geometry derivatives and compositions to create a non-geometric organism conceived out of natural. We employed six prismatics as the basic structural element of the Sunflower Stool. With periodic cross-link of the apexes in the space, we formed a prototype of the mechanical structure. Subsequently the model was transferred onto the computer and digital methods were used to perform random extrusion, twisting, stretching - Thus through the unnatural geometry operation, the original even constant geometry resulted in a natural haphazard and organic. Rule regress to ravioli, order into disorder. The establishment to find entropy.........
