冯纪忠（1915—2009.12.11 ）是中国著名建筑学家、建筑师和建筑教育家。他早年留学奥地利，长期在同济大学执教，是中国现代建筑奠基人，也是我国城市规划专业以及风景园林专业的创始人。12月17日，德默营造同仁参加于龙华殡仪馆举行的冯纪忠教授的追悼会，并向建筑学界前辈的专业成就和师表风范致以崇高敬意。愿冯先生安息！

Feng Jizhong (1915-2009.12.11) is well-known as architect and architectural educators in China. He finished his architectural education in Austria earlier and has worked as a teacher in Tongji University for almost thirty years. He is the founder of Chinese modern architecture, urban planning and landscape. On Dec. 17th we attended the memorial service for Mr. Feng Jizhong, representing our great respect for his brilliant life as Chinese modern architectural predecessor. May Mr. Feng Jizhong rest in peace!
